Elizabeth A. Hackett Death – The Iowa State Police reported that a 58-year-old woman passed away on Saturday evening following a collision between a side-by-side utility task vehicle and a deer.
The UTV, carrying four individuals, struck the deer, veered into a ditch, and overturned multiple times.
Three of the occupants sustained injuries and were transported to the University of Iowa Hospital, although the severity of their injuries was not disclosed by authorities.
Elizabeth A. Hackett, 58, from Muscatine, was identified as the victim of the accident. The investigation into the incident is currently underway.
