Irma Pedraza Death – A suspected high-speed crash in Fullerton resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to her son. According to a family friend, Irma Pedraza and her son, Christian, were on their way to their favorite donut shop when their vehicle was rear-ended by a speeding driver at a red light.
The tragic news was delivered to the family by Kassandra Mora, who recounted the heartbreaking moment.
The incident occurred at around 12:11 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Harbor Boulevard.
The Fullerton Police Department stated that the BMW responsible for the collision struck the rear of a Toyota Rav 4, which was stopped at the red light, before hitting a Chevrolet Silverado on the driver’s side.
Two individuals involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals, while the driver of the Chevrolet was treated and released at the scene.
The FPD is currently investigating the factors that may have contributed to the collision, including the speed of the BMW and the possible use of alcohol or drugs by the driver. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Fullerton Police Department.
