Mobile man arrested after police find him smoking marijuana; find fentanyl: MPD
MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man was arrested after police found him smoking marijuana and in possession of fentanyl, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.
The release said officers were in the area of the 5400 block of Highway 90 at around 12:53 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, when they saw a person sitting inside a vehicle smoking marijuana.
The officers asked the man, later identified as 29-year-old Alex Neal, to get out of the car, according to the release.
When Neal got out of the car, officers allegedly found a clear bag inside the vehicle containing fentanyl.
Neal was arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl and second-degree possession of marijuana, according to the jail log.
