Tyler Joseph Hedrick Obituary, Motorcyclist man 42, killed in midtown crash
Tyler Joseph Hedrick Obituary – Tyler Joseph Hedrick, aged 42, was declared deceased at the scene of a collision in midtown Tucson on April 15.
Emergency responders from the Tucson Fire Department arrived at the intersection of North Oracle Road and West Jacinto Street at 11 a.m.
The Tucson Police Department has identified the second driver as a 20-year-old female who sustained minor injuries and was transported to Banner University Medical Center.
TPD’s investigation, based on interviews and evidence, revealed that Hedrick was struck while attempting to cross Oracle at Jacinto.
Hedrick was reported to have been wearing a helmet during the incident. Law enforcement confirmed that the other driver was not under the influence of any impairing substances.
Further examination of medical records will determine whether Hedrick was impaired at the time of the collision. TPD has attributed the primary cause of the crash to Hedrick’s failure to stop at a stop sign. The investigation remains ongoing, and as of now, no charges or citations have been issued.
