Veronica Butler,Jilian Kelley Obituary – The disappearance of two women from Kansas, Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley, who were on their way to pick up one of their children for a birthday party in Oklahoma, may be linked to a custody battle, according to court documents.
Although remains were found in Texas County, Oklahoma, they have not yet been identified as belonging to Butler and Kelley.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation expressed their condolences to the family and confirmed that four individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit murder.
The affidavit revealed that Butler was involved in a custody battle with Tifany Machel Adams, who had two children with Adams’ son.
Butler’s car was discovered in Texas County with evidence of a violent struggle.
The affidavit also stated that Wrangler Rickman, Adams’ son and Butler’s ex-partner, was in a rehabilitation facility at the time and is not considered a suspect.
