Cory Christopher Revelle Obituary-Death News; Police Officer Shoots And Kills Murder Suspect
According to the Elizabeth City Police Department (ECPD), a man was shot and killed by a police officer for refusing to put down his pistol after another guy was shot. An cop responding to gunfire on foot patrol on North Poindexter Street at roughly two in the morning was involved in the incident.
Prior to the arrival of the police, Cory Christopher Revelle, 39, was reportedly shot by Byran Christopher White, 33. White was told to down his firearm, but he refused, and the officer shot him as a result.
Before EMS personnel could arrive, more cops responded to the site and started administering life-saving care. After being taken to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, White and Revelle both passed away from their wounds.
While the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations is investigating White’s shooting death, the ECPD is presently looking into Revelle’s fatal shooting.
