Charisse Nelson-Bailey,Daniel Vida Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identities of the driver and two passengers who lost their lives in a tragic collision involving a van, a tractor-trailer, and two other vehicles on Route 1 in South Brunswick earlier this month.
Driver Charisse Nelson-Bailey, aged 22, along with passengers Daniel Vida, aged 28, and Maria Passalaris, aged 25, tragically passed away as a result of the accident that occurred on April 12 at 9:40 a.m. on the southbound side near Ridge Road, as stated by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
According to MontyNews.com, Passalaris resided in Montgomery, while the hometowns of Nelson-Bailey and Vida have not been disclosed at this time. The collision took place when a tractor-trailer collided with a Sprinter van at the intersection, causing the van to strike two other vehicles.
Subsequently, both the van and the tractor-trailer traveled approximately 100 yards north of the intersection before catching fire, as reported by the authorities. The van was on its way to Community Options in West Windsor, an organization that caters to adults with disabilities.
