Christopher Michael Pearson, 39-Year-Old Morris Man Ejected and Killed in I-65 Rollover Crash
The identity of the man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Hoover early Sunday has now been confirmed.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Christopher Michael Pearson, a 39-year-old resident of Morris.
The accident occurred at 1:12 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-65, just south of the Old Rocky Ridge Road bridge. According to Capt. Keith Czeskleba, the driver of the Jeep Wrangler lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
Pearson was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:37 a.m. The Hoover police traffic officers are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
