Authorities have identified the teenager from Des Moines who died in a motorbike accident over the weekend.
A crash near Northeast 118th Avenue, west of the South Skunk River, was reported in a call to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday.
Officials claim that at the time of the incident, two minors were operating off-road motorcycles.
Emergency personnel found a male adolescent who was seriously injured when they arrived. Zachary Brennecke, a 16-year-old from Des Moines, was tragically killed at the scene of the collision.
