We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jannie Mae Massey, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jannie Mae’s life was a beautiful example of love and dedication to her family, and her legacy will be cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
Visitation and Wake Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a wake scheduled for Friday, April 26th from 4pm to 6pm. The wake will be held at Tillman Funeral Home located at 1215 N Jefferson St, Monticello, FL 32344.
Celebration of Life Following the wake, a celebration of life fish fry will take place at the Johnson Estate at 622 Johnson Rd, Monticello, FL 32344. This gathering will be a time to share memories, laughter, and tears as we celebrate the life that Jannie Mae lived so fully.
Funeral Service The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 27th at 1pm at Junious Hill Missionary Baptist Church, situated at 1155 Junious Hill, Monticello, FL 32344. The service will reflect on Jannie Mae’s enduring faith and her deep commitment to her community and church.
Burial The interment will follow the funeral service and will take place at Mt. Olive AME Church Cemetery, located at 6641 Lake Rd, Monticello, FL 32344. This will be a solemn and reflective time for family and friends to say their final goodbyes.
Repass After the burial, guests are invited to join the family for a repass at the Johnson Estate, where we will continue to honor Jannie Mae’s life. The repass will provide an opportunity for those gathered to comfort each other and find solace through fellowship.
