Iconic Lubbock radio host Amy Garza, better known as Amy O, lost her life in a motorcycle crash in San Antonio early Saturday morning, according to San Antonio authorities.
Amy O worked as the Content Director for 104.9 The Beat and hosted her own segment on the station Monday through Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
She was reportedly riding a motorcycle when another car sideswiped it in the 2200 block of Highway 90, according to EverythingLubbock.com’s ABC affiliate.
She suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
