Mohannad G. Othman Obituary, Death; – According to authorities, a shooting incident occurred in Oak Forest on Sunday, resulting in the death of a man and the hospitalization of a child.
The incident took place in the 5500 block of Babette Court. At approximately 5:10 p.m., three individuals who had been shot were discovered at the scene, while a fourth gunshot victim was later found inside a vehicle along with a person who was subsequently apprehended by the police.
The deceased individual, identified as Mohannad G. Othman, 39, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital after being shot in the head, as confirmed by the Cook County Medical Examiner.
On Monday, it was reported that a 12-year-old girl, who was shot while standing in a neighbor’s driveway, was among the injured. Fortunately, she is currently in stable condition.
Additionally, a 19-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg has been treated and discharged from the hospital.
The fourth victim, a 19-year-old woman, also suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and is currently receiving medical treatment for her injuries.
