Montrell Curtis Obituary: One Fatality, One Critical After SUV Collides with Light Pole in Elkhart
Montrell Curtis Obituary – The incident involving an SUV colliding with a light pole in Elkhart early Sunday morning has resulted in the death of one man and left another man in critical condition.
The SUV was discovered by officers at approximately 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of W. Indiana Avenue and Benham Avenue, with both men trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters were summoned to assist in extracting the individuals from the SUV, and they were subsequently transported to the hospital.
Unfortunately, the front seat passenger, identified as 32-year-old Montrell Curtis of Elkhart, was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the driver, a 27-year-old Elkhart resident, remains in critical condition.
The Elkhart Police Department Fatal Crash Team is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
