The identities of the driver and two passengers who died in a sad crash on Route 1 in South Brunswick earlier this month involving a van, a tractor-trailer, and two other vehicles have been confirmed by the authorities.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office stated that the driver, Charisse Nelson-Bailey, 22, and the passengers, Daniel Vida, 28, and Maria Passalaris, 25, sadly died in the accident that happened on April 12 at 9:40 a.m. on the southbound side near Ridge Road.
Passalaris lived in Montgomery, according to MontyNews.com, but Nelson-Bailey and Vida’s hometowns are now unknown. A Sprinter van and a tractor-trailer crashed at the crossroads, resulting in the van striking two other cars.
Then, according to the officials, the van and the tractor-trailer went about 100 yards north of the crossing before catching fire. The van was headed to West Windsor’s Community Options, a facility that serves persons with disabilities.
