Three people suffered gunshot wounds during a “after-prom” house party; one of them tragically died. Fort Worth police are currently looking into the shooting event. As of Monday night, the authorities had not released any information on the suspect or suspects in question, nor had they provided any details about any arrests made in relation to the case.
NBC 5 has been notified by law enforcement that partygoers have not cooperated with information requests during the investigation.
The victim has been identified as Fort Worth resident Daniel Olalde Moreno, 19, who passed away. On Monday morning, his family had a conversation at their home with Telemundo 39 and NBC 5.
Daniel Olalde was well-known for his love of cologne and his impeccable appearance, and his family is mourning his passing.
His family highlights his intense devotion for them despite his playful side. Daniel’s parents were not informed that fateful evening that he would be attending the party.
When Stephanie, his sister, learned of the shooting and Daniel’s hospitalization, she was at home. On Sunday, at 1:15 a.m., two gunshot patients were carried to John Peter Smith Hospital, and at 2:15 a.m., Olalde was taken to Harris Southwest Hospital before being flown by CareFlight.
