An inquiry is underway following a tragic collision in Warrick County that occurred on Monday morning at the intersection of Folsomville and Barren Fork Roads.
Authorities have disclosed that Alyson M. Scales, a student enrolled at Boonville High School, tragically lost her life in the incident.
Reports indicate that her brother, Dale, was behind the wheel and sustained critical injuries, necessitating an airlift to a medical facility.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, there were two vehicles involved in the collision, and a mother and her children were the other drivers. All of them suffered minor injuries.
Following the collision, the thoroughfare was closed but later reopened around noon.
