Randall Jacob Miller Obituary, Motorcyclist killed in Tucson crash identified
Randall Jacob Miller Obituary – The collision involving a motorcycle resulted in the death of a motorcyclist on Monday, April 22, near Wilmot and Fairmount.
Law enforcement officers were called to the scene at 6:30 p.m. Tucson Police confirmed that the motorcyclist was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Additionally, the driver of a white 2014 Toyota Rav4 was also transported to the same hospital with minor injuries. The deceased motorcyclist was identified as Randall Jacob Miller, 29 years old.
According to detectives, the Toyota was traveling north on Wilmot Road and attempted to turn left onto westbound Fairmount, colliding with the motorcyclist who was traveling south on Wilmot Road.
The driver of the Toyota was found not to be impaired by an officer from the DUI Unit.
The investigation revealed that failure to yield while making a left turn by the Toyota driver was the primary contributing factor to the accident.
The driver of the Toyota was cited for causing death by a moving violation, classified as a misdemeanor offense.
