Rosenda Garcia Obituary – Detectives suspect the involvement of a woman’s former partner in her death after she was discovered shot in her vehicle in Alief over the weekend.
On Sunday, the Houston Police Department located a 52-year-old woman deceased in her car on the 11900 block of 7th Street at 1:15 p.m.
According to reports, a man approached her car, fired multiple shots, and then escaped in a white Jeep Renegade. The victim has been identified as Rosenda Garcia by her son, Daniel Gonzalez, who mentioned that she had recently evicted her boyfriend from her apartment just days before the tragic incident.
Gonzalez expressed his concern as his mother’s ex-boyfriend has been unresponsive to his calls and has not shown up for work.
Despite having no history of domestic violence charges, Gonzalez revealed that his mother’s boyfriend had called the police on himself the previous year during an emotional episode involving a gun.
While authorities are seeking to speak with him, Gonzalez believes he may be in Mexico, making communication challenging. The family has been actively using social media to gather information and seek a resolution to the situation.
