It was revealed by Jessica Csorba, the mother of Frank Csorba, a runner back at Lynchburg University who received a great deal of praise, that her son Frank lost his battle with death. He was a remarkable young guy who had a substantial amount of skill and power. In his life, he triumphed over a great number of challenges. We are in a state of mourning right now, so I ask that you kindly allow us some time to gather our thoughts. As Jessica Csorba wrote, “Frank, run without experiencing any pain and be free.”
According to SoVaNOW News, Csorba was awarded the title of Runner of the Year by the River District during his last year of competition at Bluestone. As an additional accomplishment, he was selected for the first team of All-Region 2A and was an integral part of Bluestone’s victory in the Conference 34 Championship. In addition to that, he was recognized with prizes that were given to all-state performers.
During the first year of his time at Lynchburg, Csorba had many injuries. On the other hand, he was able to successfully compete in three different competitions, earning his highest rank of tenth place in the ODAC preview with a time of 25 minutes and 58 seconds. His expectations for the 2020 season were crushed when the COVID-19 epidemic finally resulted in the suspension of all college sports for a certain amount of time before the season began.
According to the sports department of the university, the year 2021 turned out to be his most successful season to yet. The cross-country season that Csorba participated in was very successful, as she finished in the top 15 in three out of five competitions. His performance in the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational, in which he finished in 12th place, earned him the honor of runner of the week from the ODAC.
