In a disturbing incident unfolding in the Bronx, a man became the victim of a violent assault after attempting to intervene in a fight outside the Albert Einstein College of Medicine on Monday afternoon. According to authorities, the altercation erupted among a group of individuals in front of 3300 Kossuth Ave. around 1:30 p.m.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, found himself in the midst of the confrontation and bravely sought to defuse the situation by intervening. However, his act of courage was met with aggression from the group of four men involved in the altercation. As the victim attempted to break up the fight, the assailants turned their fury towards him, angered by his interference in what was initially a four-on-one confrontation.
