Ashley Steffens, a vibrant and beloved member of the St. Louis community, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2024, at the age of 31. Her sudden death has left family, friends, and colleagues in shock and grief.
Ashley was born on June 25, 1992, and was known for her cheerful and fun-loving personality. She was the loving wife of Ryan Steffens for 2 1/2 years and the beloved daughter of Scott and Susan Harvey (nee Walker). She was also a dear sister, granddaughter, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, and friend to many.
Ashley’s passing has been met with an outpouring of condolences and tributes from those who knew and loved her. Gateway Region Volleyball, where her mother Sue Harvey is a referee, released a statement expressing their sadness and offering thoughts and prayers to the family.
