Jason Richards St. Louis MO Death, Jr Falcon Football coach has died

The Falcon Football Boosters mourn the passing of their beloved coach, Jason Richards of St. Louis, Missouri. He was announced dead by Jenn Garnatz in a statement through the Falcon Football Boosters Facebook group that read “As many of you know, our Summit community experienced a tragic loss yesterday. Jason Richards unexpectedly passed away and we are all in shock and heartbroken.” He will be deeply missed by his beloved family, the football team, and the entire community.

Who was Jason Richards?

For a very long time, Jason Richards has played a significant role in the Falcon Football Boosters initiative. Extremely giving with his time and effort, he was constantly prepared to go above and beyond to make sure the children in the program had an amazing time. His was a life of great importance. He positively impacted and inspired a large number of people. Jason was praised as a wonderful man and an excellent coach.

As a shining illustration of the program’s key values—F.I.R.S.T.—Jason was genuinely unique. He has been a member of the Falcon Football Family for more than ten years, together with his family. Everyone respected him, he was a friend to many, and he was very giving with his time and effort. He had a genuine passion for mentoring and guiding the young guys in our program. Over the years, Jason has had such an impact on so many people’s lives.

About Falcon Football Boosters

The Falcon Football Boosters is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization who supports Rockwood Summit High School and its feeder schools (Bowles, Kellison, Stanton, and Uthoff Valley Elementary as well as Rockwood South Middle School) in improving student interest in the Falcon Football program. We provide leadership in ways that will adhere to administrative policy and the Rockwood School District’s mission, goals, and beliefs.

The Falcon Football program is operated by parent volunteers and financially supported through sponsorship, fundraising and fees which support the growth and development of the Falcon Football program and its players. Financial contributions go toward training tools, equipment, uniforms, game day meals and supplies, team events, recognition, as well as game officials.

Jr Falcon

Jr Falcon are a feeder program for the Rockwood Summit High School football program with teams at four grade levels: 4th/5th (combined), 6th, 7th, and 8th. We play in the St. Louis Feeder League (SFL) which includes programs from Eureka, Fox, Lindbergh, Northwest, Oakville, Parkway West, Rockwood Summit and Seckman. SFL programs may only roster players who will either attend their appropriate high school or would attend if they did not go to a private school.

Jason Richards obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
