Mike Doman Obituary, Death Beloved Ascendium Education Group Staff and Sauk Rapids Travel Basketball Coach, Passes Away Tragically, Leaving Behind a Legacy of Love, Leadership, and Community Involvement”.

Mike Doman, a devoted husband, father, and member of the Sartell, Minnesota community, has passed away due to medical reasons. His family announced his tragic death, leaving behind a legacy of love, leadership, and community involvement.

Born on November 14, 1970, in Austin, Texas, Mike was the son of Earle and Dalene (Waymire) Doman. He moved to St. Cloud in 1994 and Sartell in 2016, where he became an integral part of the community. Mike married Marie Inselman on March 12, 2022, at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.

Mike was a dedicated salesman at Ascendium Education Group for 23 years, earning the respect and admiration of his coworkers. He was passionate about basketball, coaching, and playing, and was a valued member of the Sauk Rapids Travel Basketball team and Booster Club.

Apart from his professional and sports endeavors, Mike enjoyed cycling, grass mowing, shopping, breweries, and Christmas traditions. He was an exceptional cook, famous for his homemade pasta and scratch cooking. Mike was a loving father, grandfather, and family man, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Mike is survived by his wife, Marie; children, Brooke, Jacob, Skylar, Lexi, Holynne, and Cassidy; grandson, Judah; parents, Earle and Dalene; brothers, Roger and Doug; in-laws; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua, and dog, Buttons.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 9, from 4-6 pm at The Waters church in Sartell, MN, with a prayer service from 4-4:30 pm. Mike’s family, friends, and community will come together to honor his memory and celebrate his life.

Mike’s legacy will live on through his loved ones, the countless lives he touched, and the community he served. His dedication, leadership, and passion for life will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Mike Doman.
