Katie Wright Obituary, Death: Memorial Services to be Held on May 11 at Woodland Church in Virginia Beach, VA, to Celebrate the Life of G. Katherine ‘Katie’ Wright
G. Katherine “Katie” Wright, a lifelong resident of Marquette, Michigan, passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 97, and entered eternal life. To celebrate her life, memorial services will be held on May 11 at the Woodland Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The services will begin with visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 12:00 p.m. The family invites friends and loved ones to attend and share in the celebration of Katie’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Marquette Beautification Committee or the School of Nursing Scholarship Program of the Northern Michigan University Foundation. Both organizations were close to Katie’s heart, and donations will help continue her legacy.
