Natalie Spence (1994-2024): Beloved Daughter, Sister, Granddaughter, and Friend; Family Mourns Sudden Loss of Compassionate and Kind-Hearted Natalie; Celebration of Life Service to be Held on May 13th

Natalie Spence, a bright and compassionate individual, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2024, at the young age of 30. Born on April 30, 1994, in Bellshill Maternity, Natalie was the cherished daughter of Gordon and Jacqueline Spence and sister to Sophie and the late Scott Taylor. She was a loving granddaughter to the late Dorothy, John, Mary, and John, and a treasured niece, cousin, and friend to many.

Natalie spent her childhood at Culzean Avenue, where she shared a special bond with her family and developed a kind and caring spirit. She pursued her education at Langloan Primary, Coatbridge High, and Glencryan in Cumbernauld, and later continued her learning journey through skills for life courses at Coatbridge College.

Natalie’s compassionate nature led her to dedicate her time to various voluntary works, including charity shops on Coatbridge Main Street and the new baby shop in Coatbridge. She also volunteered as a classroom assistant at Buchanan High, where she made a positive impact on the lives of students. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving behind treasured memories and enduring bonds that will be forever cherished.

Natalie’s sudden passing has left a gaping hole in the lives of her family and friends, who will deeply miss her vibrant spirit and loving nature. However, her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the memories she created.

A Celebration of Life Service for Natalie will be held on Monday, May 13th, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Coats Funeral Home. Prior to the service, family and friends will gather at the family home on Culzean Avenue, departing at 10:30 AM. Following the service, a Committal service will take place at Coltswood Cemetery, where Natalie will be laid to rest.

The family invites all who knew and loved Natalie to attend the Celebration of Life Service and share in the celebration of her life. They also request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of choice in Natalie’s name, to continue her legacy of kindness and compassion.

As the community comes together to mourn the loss of Natalie, they will also celebrate her life and the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her. Her memory will live on through the countless stories, memories, and moments shared by those who knew and loved her.
