The close-knit community of Eutawville, South Carolina, was left in deep sorrow following the sudden and tragic death of Princess Kimora Jackson, who passed away by suicide on November 21, 2023. Kimora, a vibrant and accomplished young girl, was known for her love of outdoor activities and her passion for learning and involvement in school activities.

Kimora was a spirited individual who enjoyed riding ATVs, driving, fishing, and hunting with her father. Her enthusiasm for life extended to her academic and extracurricular pursuits. She discovered her love for learning at numerous daycare centers within the community, laying a strong foundation for her future educational achievements.

Kimora attended St. James-Gaillard Elementary School from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. During her time there, she participated in a variety of school activities, with dancing being one of her favorite pastimes. She was a proud member of the dance company “DuoTrio,” where she showcased her talent and passion for dance.

Kimora’s academic excellence did not go unnoticed. She received several honors and awards from various organizations, including the Kiwanis Club. She was initiated into the Beta Club, a testament to her outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. As a member of the Beta Club, she participated in the Quiz Bowl and Performing Arts contests, earning recognition from the Board of Trustees of the Orangeburg County School District. Her crowning moment came on May Day 2023, when she was crowned Miss Beta and First Runner-Up in the Fifth Grade. Kimora’s excitement reached new heights when she finished third in the Beta Club National Competition.

In addition to her academic and dance accomplishments, Kimora was also actively involved in sports and cheerleading. She was elected Miss Cross Recreation and was in her second year of cheering for the Cross Recreation Department. Despite her busy schedule, she maintained her AB Honor Roll standing throughout her academic career, exemplifying her dedication to excellence.

Kimora began her sixth-grade year at Holly Hill-Roberts Middle School, where she continued to excel academically and socially. She joined G.W.P. (Girls With Purpose), further expanding her involvement in positive and empowering activities. Throughout her school years, she built strong relationships with faculty members, earning the love and admiration of teachers, bus drivers, custodians, and fellow students alike.

The untimely passing of Kimora Jackson has left a profound impact on her family, friends, and the entire community. She was a cherished and beloved figure whose light touched the lives of many. As the community mourns her loss, they remember her as a bright, accomplished, and compassionate individual who brought joy and inspiration to all who knew her.

Kimora’s legacy serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and the need for support systems for young people. Her passing underscores the critical need for communities to come together to support and uplift one another, ensuring that no one faces their struggles alone.
