Dustin Michael Goode, a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Addis, Louisiana, on June 12, 2024, at the age of 37. Born in Batchelor, Louisiana, Dustin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community that cherished him for his unwavering kindness, generosity, and compassion.

Dustin is survived by his beloved wife, Lindsey Rivet Goode, and their three children, Camden, Jeanne, and Briar Goode, who were the center of his universe. He is also survived by his mother, Pam Goode; father, Michael Goode, and his wife, Mary; sister, Brooke Goode; brother, Garrett Day; and grandmother, Amelia Aguillard. His memory will be deeply cherished by his relatives, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his infectious smile and unwavering optimism.

Dustin’s untimely passing has left a void in the lives of everyone who knew him, and his community will deeply miss his unwavering support, guidance, and friendship. He was a pillar of strength for his family, and his love, care, and devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dustin was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He was a member of Tropical Gardens Hunting Club and spent countless hours exploring the great outdoors, reveling in nature’s beauty, and sharing his experiences with his loved ones. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his ability to fix anything and prepare for any situation, a testament to his resourcefulness and determination.

Despite his passing, Dustin’s memory will continue to inspire and motivate those who knew him. Visitation for Dustin will take place at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, officiated by Father Jason Palermo. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Plaquemine.

Dustin’s family and friends will gather to celebrate his life, share stories of his unwavering kindness, and bid farewell to a man who left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he touched. In addition to his parents and wife, Dustin is survived by his children, Camden, Jeanne, and Briar Goode; his sister, Brooke Goode; brother, Garrett Day; grandmother, Amelia Aguillard; and a host of other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis Aguillard, Roy and Joyce Goode, and uncle John Goode.
