Captain Ransom also served in the United States Air Force and retired from Edgewood Fire Department and the Greater Cincinnati Northern KY Airport Fire Department. His extensive experience has had a long-lasting effect on Northern Kentucky firefighters.
Travis was a brave Air Force veteran, a loving father to Hunter, Hannah, and Kayleigh, a committed firefighter/paramedic, and a devoted husband to his wife Lisa. Travis has generously served the Union Professional Firefighters Local 5038 community for more than 30 years. He was a native of Conneautville Station, Pennsylvania, where he spent his earlier days before moving to Cincinnati, where he settled until the time of his death.
