Yazmeen Williams, Obituary, Death: Yazmeen Williams, 31, Murdered by Chad Irish, 55, Who is Accused of Second-Degree Murder, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Loaded Firearm, and Concealing a Human Corpse, Sparking Outrage and Grief in the Kips Bay Community.

Yazmeen Williams, a vibrant 31-year-old, tragically lost her life at the hands of Chad Irish, 55, who has been accused of her murder. Williams’ body was discovered inside a sleeping bag in Kips Bay last week, with a gunshot wound to the head. Irish, who was already in police custody for allegedly concealing a corpse, now faces charges of second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a loaded firearm, and concealing a human corpse.

The Kips Bay community is reeling in shock and grief, with many expressing outrage and disbelief at the heinous crime. New video footage captures the tense moments as the community reacts to the murder, directing their anger towards Irish as he is arrested by the police. Irish was identified as a person of interest after security footage showed him dragging a sleeping bag, similar to the one Williams was found in, down East 27th Street.

Antowne Frazier, a resident of Straus Houses where Irish also lives, expressed shock and disbelief at the crime. Frazier confronted Irish in a nearby park, questioning his involvement in the murder. Despite Irish’s denial, Frazier remains convinced of his guilt. “I can’t believe he would do something like that,” Frazier said. “He’s always been a quiet guy, but I guess you never really know what someone is capable of.”

Williams’ family and friends are devastated by her loss, remembering her as a kind and caring person who always put others before herself. “Yazmeen was a beautiful soul, inside and out,” said her sister, Shanice Williams. “She didn’t deserve to die like this. We will miss her every day.”

Irish’s arrest and charges have sparked a mix of emotions in the community, with many calling for justice and others expressing disbelief at the allegations. “I can’t believe he would do something like this,” said one neighbor. “He’s always been a nice guy, but I guess you never really know what someone is capable of.”

As the investigation continues, the Kips Bay community is coming together to support Williams’ family and friends. A candlelight vigil was held outside the building where Williams’ body was found, with many attending to pay their respects and show their support.

Irish’s denial of involvement in the murder has done little to quell the outrage and anger in the community. “He’s just trying to save his own skin,” said Frazier. “But we know the truth. He’s guilty, and he needs to face the consequences.”

The charges against Irish are a testament to the tireless efforts of the NYPD and the DA’s office to bring justice to victims of crime. “We will not tolerate violence and murder in our community,” said DA Cy Vance. “We will do everything in our power to ensure that those responsible are held accountable.”

Williams’ death is a tragic reminder of the senseless violence that plagues our communities. Her family and friends will never forget her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Rest in peace, Yazmeen Williams. Your life was cut short, but your memory will never be forgotten.

Please accept our condolences for the loss of Yazmeen Williams. We offer our thoughts and prayers to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Chad Irish will face justice for his alleged crimes, and the Kips Bay community will continue to heal and come together in the aftermath of this tragedy. Yazmeen Williams will always be remembered as a vibrant and caring person who was taken from us too soon.
