Maryellen (Mary) Beth Mullins, a vibrant and cherished resident of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2024, at UMass Medical Center. Born and raised in Worcester, Mary was known for her joyful spirit, passionate support of New England sports teams, and deep love for her family and friends. Her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, as well as in the broader community.

Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Rita Mullins, whose love and guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she became. She is survived by her brothers, Paul F. Mullins Jr. and his wife April of Shrewsbury, Kevin M. Mullins of Worcester, and Phillip M. Mullins and his wife Robyn of Princeton. Her extended family includes her nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Kaitlyn, Connor, Janey, Jacob, Seth, Liam, Danica, and Madelyn, all of whom she adored and cherished deeply. Mary also leaves behind her devoted partner, Joseph Dell’Olio, with whom she shared many wonderful years of love and companionship. Her relatives Pamela, Stephan & Benjamin Williams, Patricia & Jacquelyn Kasper, and David & Marianne Mullins, along with numerous friends, will also carry her memory in their hearts.

Mary’s educational journey took her through Wachusett Regional High School, where she developed a keen interest in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Throughout her career, she held various positions in this field, always bringing her unique blend of enthusiasm and dedication to her work. Her colleagues and customers alike were drawn to her warmth and infectious smile, making her a beloved figure wherever she went.

As a passionate New England sports fan, Mary followed the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics with unwavering enthusiasm. Her love for these teams was a reflection of her deep connection to the region and its culture. Beyond sports, Mary had a zest for travel, having explored destinations such as Italy, Paris, and Hawaii. These adventures fueled her love for fashion and home decorating, as well as her fondness for cherished cars and motorcycles. Her eclectic tastes and vibrant personality were reflected in everything she did, from her impeccable sense of style to her appreciation for music, particularly tunes from the 70s and 80s.

Mary’s devotion extended beyond her human family to her beloved dogs, Peanut and Gizmo. As a devoted dog mom, she found grounding and calm in their presence, sharing her life with them in a way that only deepened her capacity for love and care. Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter, creating an inviting atmosphere for all who entered.

Though life presented its challenges, Mary faced them with resilience and grace. Her joyful, fearless, and sassy spirit never wavered, and her radiant smile brightened the lives of everyone she encountered.
