Victims killed in mass shooting during a birthday celebration in King City identified
On Monday morning, a King City family mourns the loss of two of their own, who were fatally shot on Sunday night.
The video above depicts individuals enjoying themselves at the birthday celebration prior to the shooting.
Among the victims were 32-year-old Alicia Ramírez Aparicio, who was killed on the 200 block of North Second Street, and Francisco Aldape.
Alicia, survived by her husband and four children, leaves a profound void in their lives.
Alicia’s husband was also injured in the shooting but has since been discharged from the hospital.
Relatives have confirmed that the victim is Mario Guzman from King City. According to a family member, Guzman is survived by his wife and two daughters.
On Sunday night in King City, at least four individuals lost their lives, and seven others sustained injuries in a shooting incident.
Authorities were alerted to the sound of gunshots around 6 p.m. in the 200 block of North Second Street in King City.
Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered three adult males with gunshot wounds in the front yard of a residence. Sadly, all three were declared deceased at the scene.
Additionally, King City Police informed KION that a woman was taken to Mee Memorial Hospital by another individual, where she was later pronounced dead.
