Jeff Stewlew Obituary, Death – ALS patient Jeff Stewlew, who had been batting for the team, passed away this morning. In your prayers, please remember to include his wife Lori, their son, and the rest of the Bailey family all together. Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Steel, who was 56 years old and a resident of May, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023.

A memorial service for Jeff will be conducted at the May Rodeo Grounds on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from four o’clock in the afternoon to eight o’clock in the evening. The Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood is in charge of making the necessary arrangements at this time. Jeff Steel was born in Brownwood on October 17, 1966.

His parents, Sammy Steel and Judy (Graves) Steel, were his parents. During his early years, he rode bulls and attended schools associated with Brownwood.

The rodeo was Jeff’s thing. During his career, he worked as a rancher, a truck driver, and most recently, he was employed by the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT). It was on May 21, 2011, in Brookesmith that he tied the knot with Beverly Barrier.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Beverly Steel of May; daughter, Cassidy Steel of Brownwood; daughter, Jennifer Hardy and husband Craig of May; son, Jake Brown and wife Haley of Bangs; grandchildren, Reagan, Lane, Wyatt, Hallee, Hagen and Amelia; mother, Judy Steel of Brownwood; step-mother, Jerri Steel of Blanket;

brother, Richard Steel and wife Donna of Blanket; sisters, Cindy Steel of Round Rock and Connie Steel of Austin; step-brothers, Randy Tischler and wife Dondi of Wea
