Death of Brad Fetner We regret to inform you of the death on Sunday, March 10, 2024, of Brad Fetner, a devoted employee of the Livingston County, Michigan, Sheriff’s Office. Before passing away from Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, Brad battled the disease bravely for two years. Brad was a Deputy assigned to the Jail Services section of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office when he started working there in 2007.

Over the course of his career, he has continuously shown strong devotion and professionalism in the execution of his job, earning the respect and admiration of both his colleagues and the society at large. Brad’s outstanding commitment to the organization earned him a promotion to Sergeant in 2014, a position he has maintained with distinction for the last six years.

Throughout his tenure, Brad has consistently dedicated himself to upholding the values of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and ensuring the protection and security of the county. His leadership, ethics, and compassion impacted the lives of many, and those who had the privilege of working with him were left with a lasting imprint.

A valued provider for his family, Brad went above and above his responsibilities as a member of the Sheriff’s Office. Not only did his departure leave a void in the hearts of law enforcement colleagues, but it also affected his friends, family, and everyone else who had the honor of getting to know him. We want his wife and kid to know that they are in our prayers and thoughts at this difficult time as they cope with the tragic loss of a loving husband and father.

Brad has left a legacy of loyalty and dedication that will continue to inspire all of us. His courage, selflessness, and unwavering devotion to duty will be deeply missed for a very long time. That will never be forgotten, but he will be terribly missed.
