Murder-suicide Death, Obituary, Fort Bend According to the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, the remains of two elementary school teachers were found in Fort Bend County on Monday. The case is now being investigated by the authorities. Two teachers’ corpses were found inside a house in the 23300 block of Darst Field Trail in Richmond, Texas.
Mariana Alba Garcia, a fourth-grade teacher at Long Elementary School, and Gene Mark Hudgson Sjogreen Jr., a third-grade teacher at Taylor Ray Elementary, were named as the dead victims. The victims were found at the house by deputy sheriffs from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office who had been called to do a wellness check. The cause of their deaths has not yet been made public by the law enforcement authorities.

Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, friends, fellow students, and everyone who knew them at this difficult time of loss. Lamar CISD said, “We are reminded of the frailty of life and the need of uniting as a community to assist one another in times of sadness.

Our common goal of encouraging and bringing life to our kids and one another unites us as a community. The school district remarked, “I ask that we remember the strength we gain from our unity during this time.
