Micheal Young Obituary, Death, A Tribute to a Remarkable Journey
Micheal Young Obituary, Death – At a young age, Michael became a follower of Christ and accepted him as his savior at Jericho Baptist Church. In later years, he attended Ebenezer Baptist Church in order to be closer to his family, which included his wife and children. He was a highly active participant in the life of the church and served as the chairman of the Trustees Ministry with great honesty and dedication. Moreover, he was a member of the Mass Choir as well as the Male Chorus.
He had a deep and abiding confidence in God, and he thanked him without fail, regardless of the circumstances. Michael was a member of the choir, basketball, and football teams at Ladysmith High School, where he graduated with the class of 1972. He attended public schools in Caroline County and later graduated from Ladysmith High School. Michael worked for Kings Dominion for a total of 38 years before he finally decided to retire. During his time there, he formed a number of bonds with his coworkers that will last a lifetime.
He was a member of the Virginia Royals from “Boone Town” in Ruther Glen for a number of years, during which time he played baseball. He was a devoted supporter of the Washington Commanders and took pleasure in going to games with his spouse, children, and other loved ones. The sport of drag racing was another one of Michael’s passions, and he was looking forward to supporting Young Racing with his brother Adrian driving alongside him.
The time that Michael spent with his family was filled with delight. He devoted himself to his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. The role of “PaPa” to his grandchildren and providing support for them in the activities they participated in was something he cherished.
In addition to his loving and loyal wife of 44 years, Violet Young, he leaves behind three children: Vincent Ferguson, Regina Jeter and her husband Jermaine, and Michael Young Jr., all of whom reside in Ruther Glen, Virginia.
