Terry Geaghan: Terry Geaghan, the owner and operator, unexpectedly departed away. Thursday, March 14, 2024, in the afternoon, was verified as his death. After an all too brief struggle with illness, he passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Terry has never been exposed to strangers.
He had a wonderful personality that had a way of winning people over. He was funny, kind, and friendly. He was always able to identify a connection. Those who knew him will carry on his legacy of love, generosity, humor, and volunteerism.
Shipmaster’s Gallery was owned by Terry Geaghan. He attended University of Maine to study. His secondary schooling was finished at Brewer High School. Up to the moment of his death, he lived in Woolwich, Maine. When arrangements are finished, the general will be informed about the public celebration of life that the family is organizing, which is scheduled to take place in the clubhouse sometime in May.
We have made the decision to keep LRKC open for normal business hours this weekend after consulting with staff members. We take solace in coming here and in sharing that emotion with all of you because there is still so much of him behind these walls.
Mollie, who is appreciative and overwhelmed by the overwhelming outpouring of love and support from the community and beyond, will be taking a step back over the coming days to grieve the death of her father, business partner, and closest friend.
