Daniel Lewis Obituary, Death – What’s up, Friends? At three minutes past two in the morning, our good friend Dr. Daniel Lewis had a face-to-face encounter with his savior, Jesus Christ. It is with a great deal of sadness as well as excitement that we share this news with you. During the same time period, he was able to enjoy a wonderful reunion with his cherished wife Kathy. At the moment that he entered eternal, I had the privilege of standing next to him, and the experience was both serene and lovely.
The health of Dr. Lewis was extremely precarious, and he was dealing with a great deal of problems; recently, perhaps four days ago, he took a turn for the worse. It is impossible to imagine him being the same guy that we have known him to be for all of these years if he had been able to survive. Nobody enjoyed the idea of his leading a life that was curtailed. In the near future, we will organize a service honoring the deceased’s life. If you want to attend in person, we will make every effort to provide you sufficient time to go down to the location.
There will also be a webcast of the service. With his beloved Kathy by his side, he will be interned in the state of Michigan. Several weeks ago, Dr. Lewis’s final words to me were to express his gratitude to each and every one of you for your prayers and to show that he loved each and every one of you. We are going to get in touch with each and every one of our IAGM missionaries very away to discuss the next steps. At the Mount Pearl Summit Centre, Daniel experienced a heart arrest after engaged in the activity that he enjoyed the most, which was swimming.
Despite his best efforts to recuperate, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away after receiving exceptional care for two weeks at the critical care unit (CCU) of the St. John’s Health Sciences Centre. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. Having been born and raised in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Daniel was an athlete from the very beginning of his athletic career. Since he was a very young child, his life has been centered around activities such as swimming, baseball, basketball, volleyball, hiking, and any other sports or activities that take place outside.
Watching games and cheering on his favorite teams, particularly the New York Mets, might be found in his spare time when he wasn’t actively playing himself. Not only did he enjoy spending time outside, but he also enjoyed birdwatching, which was a direct result of his deep affection for animals. When you were having a chat with him, it was quite difficult to go on a topic without mentioning some amazing cat that he had met. He was also a voracious reader, devouring everything from classics to comic books.
The most essential thing to remember is that Daniel was a fantastic friend who was passionately loyal; this is a difficult loss for many people. His grandparents, Richard and Drucilla Kelly, as well as his niece and nephew, Phillip and Katherine Lewis, as well as his aunts and uncles, Evelyn and Ray Nielsen, Phyllis and George Templeton, Regina Phillips, and Leo Quinlan, as well as his cousin Pamela Kelly, all passed away before him.
