Update: Shooter is in custody.
According to law enforcement sources, an “active shooter” armed with multiple long guns is currently in a carjacked silver Honda CRV in Falls Township, Bucks County.
The shooting occurred at the scene on Edgewood Lane & Viewpoint Lane, where at least three people were shot and killed, sources report.
Law enforcement in the area is requesting additional resources from other Bucks County police departments, as well as assistance from both Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Police.
They have also requested a helicopter from the New Jersey State Police.
Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place are currently in lockdown and closing, according to law enforcement sources.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed that three individuals were shot and killed in Falls Township. The shooter, reportedly armed with rifles, may have carjacked a person.
Residents have been issued a “Shelter in Place” alert, and people gathering for the St. Patrick’s parade have been advised to seek refuge in a nearby high school.
