A graduate of Sacred Heart University, Kyle Bancroft passed away recently. Unfortunately, Kyle Bancroft, who resided in Stamford, Connecticut, has died away. On Friday, March 15, 2024, he passed away after a valiant fight against Ewing Sarcoma. He was accompanied by his cherished family at the time of his passing. It was on February 26, 2006 when he was born. This was the beginning of his adventure, which started in the center of Stamford, Connecticut, where he cherished every second of his young lives.

Among the most important things in his life were the wonderful relationships he had with his family, which included his pet dogs Shadow and Violet. In addition to his family relationships, he fostered profound friendships, placed a high value on his education, delighted in watching sports with his father, and discovered comfort in playing video games with his friends and relatives.

An unforgettable trip to Ireland, which he had with his closest friends, was one of the most memorable experiences he has had in recent recent times. Throughout his time while attending Stamford Public Schools, he maintained a high level of academic achievement, which resulted in his receiving the highest accolades on a continuous basis. The Mickey Lione, Jr. Fund, The Susan Fund, Circle of Care, and the Junie DeLeo Scholarship Award are just few of the scholarship awards that Kyle has received.

It is important to note that Kyle has received many scholarships. Because of Kyle’s dogged dedication, he was accepted to each of the nine Connecticut universities to which he applied, despite the fact that his health issues required him to remain close to his current residence. He made the decision to attend Sacred Heart University, and despite experiencing a great deal of discomfort, he managed to obtain a spot on the Dean’s List during the Fall 2023 semester. This achievement is a tribute to his steadfast determination and character.

Kyle considered baseball to be more than just a pastime; it was his passion and his expert ability. Although he was well-known for his ability to instill terror in opposing pitchers, he discovered happiness and camaraderie on the baseball field, where he formed long-lasting connections with both his teammates and his coaches. Baseball consumed his talks and goals even when he was off the field, and he had fantasies of one day playing in the Major League Baseball.

Baseball was not the only sport he participated in; he also played basketball for Stamford Peace, JCC Travel, and Stamford High School, where he also coached and volunteered for Stamford High School’s Unified Sports program, which provided assistance to students with special needs who were participating in basketball.

Only 19 years old, Kyle has already accomplished things that many people spend their whole lives trying to do. Because of his amazing characteristics and attractive personality, he won the hearts of everyone who came into contact with him. Kyle exemplified a unique combination of traits that left a lasting imprint on those who had the good fortune to meet him. He was bold, compassionate, intellectual, and courageous.

The individual who passed away before Kyle was his grandfather on his father’s side, Leonard J. Bancroft, as well as his three uncles, Leonard Bancroft, Jr., Gary Bancroft, and Mark Bancroft. Kyle is the only person who survived his grandfather. The only people who will remember Kyle are his sister, Chelsey, as well as his parents, Lisa (Cameron) and Scott Bancroft, who are both proud and loving.

Patricia and William Cameron, his maternal grandparents, who reside in Riverside; his aunts and uncles, Cathy (Cameron) and James Hylinski, who reside in Delray Beach, Florida; Suzanne (Cameron) and Glen Messina, who are in New Canaan, Connecticut; and a large number of devoted cousins. His aunts and uncles, including Jane McCarthy of Watertown, Connecticut, Roxanne Bancroft of East Windsor, Connecticut, Wayne Bancroft of Enfield, Connecticut, Janine Bancroft of East Hartford, Connecticut, Pauline Meacham of East Windsor, Connecticut, Lynn Andrews of Somers, Connecticut, and a cousin, are also among those who are able to carry on his legacy. Kyle is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Bancroft, who resides in East Windsor, Connecticut.

On Monday, March 18, 2024, from 4 PM to 8 PM, there will be a wake conducted at the Bosak Funeral Home, which is located at 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut 06902.

The Church of Saint Cecilia, located at 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut 06905, will be the location of the funeral mass that will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:30 AM. We shall keep the burial a private affair.
