Shirley Mabey Obituary, Death – It was at 9:20 this morning when my mother, Shirley Mabey, died away in a calm and serene manner. She was 80 years old. She was the most wonderful mother of all time.

She is someone that we adore deeply, and we shall miss her every single day. We just went to see my mother yesterday, along with my sister. During the previous Saturday, we also spent time with our mother, joking and eating tacos.

For the previous five years, Mom had been battling a sickness, and she was currently receiving hospice care. Even during the latter year of her life, she continued to lead a joyful existence by devouring mouthwatering meals that she had prepared at home, watching television shows like Baywatch and Little House on the Prairie, smiling, and having a wonderful time.

We are unable to put into words how grateful we are to the Filipino caregivers Nannet and Boy, as well as Aveeva Hospice, for everything they did for our mother to ensure that she was happy and comfortable.

It was as if they adored their mother as if she were a member of their own family. Any person who was familiar with our family was aware that mom had a remarkable life. My parents made the most of every moment of their lives, and as a result, my sister and I are also lucky enough to be living incredible lives.

We are extremely fortunate and blessed, and we are well aware that a significant portion of this is due to our parents, particularly our mother. This is one another illustration of how fleeting life can be, It is over in a flash.

We need to forgive one other for dumb things we might say or silly mistakes we might make, and we need to let go of whatever grudges we may have toward one another. It is imperative that we care for one another, that we make the most of each and every day that we have left on this planet, and that we experience life to the best possible extent.

You are our “Bahamma Momma” and we love you. I want to express my gratitude for being the most wonderful mother that anyone could ever hope to have. Many thanks for what you’ve taught me. One day, when it is my turn to be there, we hope to be able to join you and dad in heaven.
