Arrangements are currently being worked out. On Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the age of 91, Mary Ann Passon, who resided in Brookfield, died away in a calm and serene manner. Her parents, Michael Grgich and Helen (née Marianovich) Grgich, were immigrants from Croatia, and she was the seventh and final child to be born to them. She was born on May 10, 1932.
She received her high school diploma from Menomonee Falls High School and was raised in Lannon, Wisconsin. Mary Ann took great pride in her role as a homemaker and went on to work for both Target and Hallmark. She took pleasure in going on family trips, playing golf, and going for Sunday drives with her husband, Andy. Mary Ann was at her happiest when she was with her family, and she will be remembered for all time as a mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren.
Jayne (Robert) Carver, Peter (Pamela) Passon, and Phillip (Jennifer) Passon are all thrilled to have her as their mother. A cherished grandma to Andrew Carver, who is married to Catherine, William Carver, Madeline Carver, Courtney Weber, who is married to Austin, and Mollie Passon, who is married to Zach Helwig.
In addition, she is survived by several of her nieces and nephews, as well as other family and acquaintances. Her cherished spouse, I. Andrew Passon, as well as her six siblings and her parents all passed away before she did.
