Sean Canon’s demise With deep sorrow, we report Sean Canon’s untimely death on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Sean’s departure has left a very hollow void in the hearts of the Bronco Nation, the community he passionately served, and his loved ones. As we grieve his loss, we acknowledge the tremendous impact he had as head coach, assistant coach, and vice president of the board for the Broncos.
Sean’s passion for the Broncos was unrivaled. For many years, he devoted himself fully to the team’s growth, leaving a deep mark on every aspect of the business. Thanks to his guidance, leadership, and steadfast devotion, the Broncos have evolved into a close-knit group that exemplifies his values of honesty, tenacity, and camaraderie.
Whatever his position within the Broncos organization, Sean was a positive influence and pillar of support to everyone he encountered. His generosity, friendliness, and genuine concern for them won over many people, and as a result, he left a lasting legacy of goodwill and kindness.
Sean’s sudden departure left us devastated, but we find solace in the beautiful memories he left behind. The Broncos franchise and the individuals he impacted will always cherish and remember his influence.
Sean will be deeply missed by his coworkers, friends, and family, as well as by the whole Bronco Nation. His spirit will continue to live on in us, motivating and leading us to seek excellence and unity in everything that we do, even if he may not be physically here with us longer.
In order to continue Sean’s legacy and provide assistance to organizations close to his heart, the Broncos organization will establish a memorial fund in his honor. We will provide more details in the following days.
