Mccutcheon, Chase Death, Obituary, Fresno:- Following a fatal Tesla accident that occurred in California yesterday, two guys from Fresno passed away. Jason Phillips, 24, and Chase McCutcheon, 32, were named as the victims. Reports state that Chase and Jason died as a result of injuries they suffered in the tragic collision.
How did the collision occur?
The coroner’s office reports that terrible events happened early on Monday when Chase McCutcheon, 32, was killed in a collision with numerous guardrails in a Tesla Model 3 driven by someone who was believed to be the driver. The car was heading westward toward Willow Avenue when the tragic occurrence on Copper Avenue in California happened at 1:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The driver failed to control the road’s changing trajectory while driving at a fast speed, resulting in the car striking a curb, a railing, and a street sign before toppling, according to the preliminary CHP investigation. According to the CHP, the Tesla continued on its path and struck another curb and barrier.
Named victims, cause of death
Sadly, neither Phillips nor McCutcheon had on seatbelts at the time of the collision; as a result, the CHP reports that both men were thrown from the car and declared dead at the scene. A third passenger, a 37-year-old male seated in the rear, was reported to have moderate injuries by law enforcement officials, and he was sent to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for further care.
The inquiry is more urgent since police are looking into whether alcohol was a component in the event, which happened during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
