Police in Warwick found a man and a toddler deceased in a residence. The man seemed to have shot himself. Police raided Frawley Street about 8:30 a.m. Police received a report that someone had shot a kid and was hiding in the home with a gun.
“While detectives continue to piece together the events leading up to this horrific crime, the Warwick Police Department sends our deepest condolences to the family members and those affected by this senseless and unimaginable act,” officials said.
The deadly shooting occurred at 71 Frawley Street in Warwick, Rhode Island, where the Dempsey brothers—Seamus, Sean, and Ellen—live. Warwick Police Chief Colonel Bradford Connor said police were called to a Frawley Street home about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday for a domestic argument.
Someone reportedly shot at a youngster and was armed inside the home, prompting the call. Police found the remains of a kid and an adult male, the latter of whom looked to have shot himself in the head, after breaking into the residence.
Warwick police chief says the event may be a murder-suicide. The Warwick Police Department reported that police responded to a domestic incident at 71 Frawley St. at 8:24 AM on Thursday, March 21, 2024. They were informed that a youngster had been shot and that the suspect was still inside with a gun before arriving. Police stormed inside the residence and discovered a kid and an adult male dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Warwick Police Department offers its condolences to the victims’ families and friends as they try to understand this inconceivable act. Investigators are still attempting to determine what transpired before this awful tragedy. We are devastated by today’s events.

His age is 48. He is also known as Sea Dempser, Sean Dempsey, Sen. Dempsey, and Sean Dempsey. Sean lives at 71 Frawley Str, Warwick, RI 02889-8144.
His previous homes were Warwick and Cranston, Rhode Island. One of 71 Frawley Street residents is 79-year-old Ellen Dempsey. Her current job description is “Professional/Technical”. On December 28, Ellen will be 79. The address is associated to Seamus Dempsey. Authorities have not identified the gunmen or the victims, who were children.
