How did Dr. Eilish Cleary come to be?
In 1963, Eilish Cleary was born to her parents, John and Mary Cleary, in Dublin, Northern Ireland. Brid, Kevin, Fiona, and Siobhan are her siblings. She is the older of the four. With the age of 22, Eilish became the youngest doctor in the history of Ireland. The majority of her life was thereafter spent working in Canada, where she moved with her immediate family in 1998. She remained there till the present day. Eilish has a deep-seated conviction that everyone should have access to medical care, and she has spent her entire life working tirelessly to make this commitment a reality.
A total of four children were born to Eilish and Gerard Beirne: James, Luke, Sorcha, and Cormac, all of whom were cherished by their mother. She has a passion for visiting new places, and she has fostered this interest in her children at a young age. 1998 marked the year that the family made the move to Northern Manitoba, where they eventually settled in Norway House Cree Nation, where she found employment at the hospital.
Despite the fact that the relocation was supposed to be a temporary one, she was able to secure another job in Manitoba, which evolved into the family’s permanent abode for a number of years. Eilish eventually moved to New Brunswick with her family, where she finally became the Chief Medical Officer of Health. During her time there, she attained a position of advancement.
After meeting Paul Meyer in New Brunswick, Eilish learned that the two of them had a mutual appreciation for traveling and participating in extreme water activities. For example, they constructed a bunkhouse and walking trails in the woods after purchasing a house in Penniac and devoting a significant amount of time to the renovation of the property.
During the years that followed, they made many trips back to the land, during which they would walk for hours across the hills that were covered in trees. Right up until the moment she passed away, Eilish treasured her quaint cabin in the woods. In accordance with her desires, her ashes will be handed over to the Irish government.
