A Love for Family and Heritage

Pat valued her family beyond all else, and she was extremely proud of her Irish and Ukrainian background. Family was her top priority. In addition to being a dedicated daughter to her parents, Joseph and Sonia Regan, she was also a nurturing sister to her two sisters. Her maternal and paternal nieces and nephews occupied a very important place in her heart, and she found tremendous pleasure in observing their development and success. Innumerable hours were spent by her in the pursuit of discovering the mysteries surrounding her Irish and Ukrainian ancestry, establishing connections with long-lost relatives, and ensuring that the rich tapestry of her family’s history would be preserved for future generations. During her fight against breast cancer, Pat discovered comfort and support in the generosity of others, particularly from Helen’s Angels, a charitable organization that is committed to assisting those who are battling cancer.
