Harlen Terrell Obituary, Death –  Harlen Bruce Terrell, who had been a resident of Bertrand, Missouri, was a patient at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston at the time of his dying on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He had been there since the previous day. The man was 91 years old at the time.

In Bertrand, where he was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, he had spent his entire life. He had never lived anywhere else. It was the place where he had spent the majority of his life. On December 30th, 1932, he was born in Bertrand to the late Marshall Terrell and Inola Baker Terrell.

His parents have since passed away. It is now too late for his parents to be alive. Before he retired, he had spent the bulk of his life working as a truck driver for companies that were involved in commercial transportation. They had been his employers for the majority of his life.

His marriage to Pansy Elaine Jones took place on July 5, 1951, and she passed away on June 1, 2016, four years before he did. He was the first person to ever get married to her.

In addition to his children, Kevin Terrell, Darlene Hurley, and Terri Hicks, all of whom reside in Bertrand; Brenda Pendergrass, who resides in Caraway, Arkansas; and Jeana (Donald) Faught, who resides in Blodgett; his eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, his legacy is able to be carried on by a number of other relatives.

Before he passed away, his great-great grandson, Liam, as well as his brothers, Loren Terrell and Fred Terrell, had already passed away. He was the last of his family members to pass away. A number of people, including his wife and his parents, had already passed away prior to his passing.

The deceased included not just those who had preceded him in death but also his grandson Michael David Hurley, who was also among those who had passed away.

On Thursday, March 28, 2024, visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until the funeral hour, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will take place at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Through the course of the day, guests are strongly urged to pay a visit to the funeral home. It is planned that Pastor Greg Whitlock will serve as the person in charge of presiding over the service.

Following the conclusion of the funeral service, the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston will be in charge of the interment, which will take place in the Dogwood Cemetery (also known as the cemetery).
