Patricia Lawiler Obituary, Patricia Lawiler Has Unexpectedly Passed Away
Patricia Lawiler Obituary, Death – I am Patricia Lawler. Patricia Ann Lawler, who resided in Elwood and was 89 years old, visited Northview Health and Living on Friday, December 29, 2023, and passed away there. The late William Lawrence and Mary (Murphy) Lawrence welcomed their daughter Patricia into the world on December 25th, 1934 in Anderson.
Her marriage to Thomas J. Lawler took place on June 20, 1952, and the couple has been together for 71 years currently. The year that Patricia graduated from Anderson High School was 1952, and she was a member of the graduating class. She was employed by the Frankton-Lapel School Corporation in the capacity of Secretary-Treasurer.
She participated in the Anderson Mothers of Twins Club when she was younger and at one point served as President of Twins Clubs for the state of Indiana. She was also engaged in the Twins Clubs club. She had a unique relationship with the Lord and was a member of the East Main Street Christian Church in Elwood at the time of her death.
In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed activities such as reading, sewing, crocheting, knitting, canning, gardening, and genealogy. She also enjoyed gardening. Patricia was committed to helping other people and had stitched more than seven hundred garments to be distributed to children in Haiti who were in need. Patricia’s true calling was to be a mother to her four children, and she will be greatly missed by a tremendous number of people.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Lawler of Elwood; sons, James “Jim” Lawler of Fairland, IN, and David Michael (Beth) Lawler of Elwood; daughters, Mary Lawler of Shelbyville, IN, and Lisa (Brad) Storm of Anderson; grandchildren, Melissa (Justin) Jaynes of NH, Julie Storm of Anderson, Matt (Julie M.) Storm of Logansport, and Jennifer (James) Kimble of Anderson; nephew, Bob Post of Anderson; great-grandchildren, Paris Butler, Graycie Storm, Kinzy Storm, Jayden Kimble, Jaxon Kimble, and Jareth Kimble; and family friend, Carrie Kneifel of Shelbyville. When Patricia Lawrence passed away, her parents, William and Mary Lawrence, had already passed away.
The Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home, located at 305 Sigler Street in Frankton, Indiana, will be the location of the visitation for Patricia on Friday, January 5, 2024, from three o’clock until six o’clock. In the immediate aftermath of the visitation that will take place at Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 6:00 pm, the funeral ceremony for Patricia will take place, with Roger Gardner serving as the officiant.
It has been decided that Patricia will be honored with a private service at the burial in the K of P – IOOF Cemetery located in Frankton, Indiana. Memorial contributions can be sent to the Activity Fund for Northview Nursing Home and the East Main Street Church of Elwood. Both communities are located in Elwood.
