On Sunday, March 31, police released a heartbreaking update regarding Emile Soleil, a two-year-old French toddler who has gone missing. Police have announced that his remains were discovered in Alpine village, nine months after his disappearance.
His body was discovered not far from the remote family residence where he vanished on Saturday, March 30. Tragically, the Aix-en-Provence public prosecutor’s office revealed that a walker had called the police while out for a hike.
Emile disappeared a year ago. When young Emile Soleil vanished in July 2023 in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence village of Le Vernet, authorities began a desperate hunt.
More than eight hundred people were searching for him at the time, but he was never located.
