James E. Robinson Obituary, Death – On March 30, 2024, at Bethesda North Hospital, James E. Robinson, 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully, leaving behind loved ones and treasured memories.
The late Herman and Muriel Robinson’s son James was born on January 30, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Paul Robinson and Patricia Schreve, his siblings, also passed away before him.
The love and companionship of James’s life partner, Judy Masterson, will live on in his loved ones. His grandchildren, Anthony, Austin, Allison, and James Niederhelman, as well as his children, Timothy and Melanie Robinson, will continue his work long after he passes away. Nancy Williams, Kevin, Sue Fisher, David, Charles, and Lori Fein are James’s siblings; he was also preceded in death by his sister Patricia and brother David.
James had a reputation for being an expert mechanic who could fix just about anything, but he was especially good at restoring classic cars. His meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled mechanical expertise made him proud whenever he restored or repaired a vehicle. James discovered a community of brothers and sisters who shared his values of service and fraternity in the Masonic Lodge. But golf was the one sport that won James over.
He was deeply committed to golf and would spend hours upon hours on the course honing his technique and socializing with other players. James delighted in the tranquil setting of the golf course, whether he was competing in tournaments or just playing a round with friends.
All who knew James will cherish his memory as he is laid to rest. We will always remember his selfless generosity, his devoted love for his family, and his enthusiasm for his hobbies. Those lucky enough to have known and loved him will carry his memory with them long after he physically leaves this world.
The ones closest to James will take solace in remembering the good times they had together and the love he gave them. His legacy of joy and love will live on through many generations, so may he rest in peace.
